It was great to take the kids along to the Kite Festival at Murarrie Recreation Reserve and the Green Heart Fair at Carindale Recreation Reserve on Sunday 13th October.
It was one of those wonderful days that reminds me how lucky we are to live in this region. I was pleased to catch up with Brisbane’s Lord Mayor Graham Quirk (pictured right) and tell him how impressed I am with how the Green Heart Fair has grown since last year.
So many amazing locals were involved in the fair – Rolf Kuelsen was a guest speaker and Nancy & Andrew Kent (from the inspiration garden) were there too. I also participated in the Carindale Connect book swap which was very popular.
